Manchester United could reportedly be set to make a move for one of the most exciting attacking midfielders in Europe at the moment.
There have been so many Bruno Fernandes transfer rumours this summer that it’s hard to keep up, but there now seems to be some more concrete Man Utd interest forming.
According to the Independent, the Red Devils are set to try a bid of around £50million for the Portugal international, who wants to be allowed a move to Old Trafford.
It is suggested in the piece that Fernandes may well cost a bit more than that, but that United themselves are confident a deal can be done.
This is great news as the 24-year-old would be a significant upgrade in a problem position for us.
Paul Pogba has not been at his best in his three years in Manchester, while Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini have both recently left the club.
Fernandes seems ideal to come in and add more spark to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side and help get us back into the top four in 2019/20.
