Manchester United cleared to sign Arsenal star for £56m as Red Devils ace linked with £75m exit

Manchester United could reportedly land Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for as little as £56million this summer.

The Gabon international was recently linked with Man Utd by Tuttosport, and it’s now emerged that Arsenal are ready to cash in on him due to needing to sell players in order to afford Wilfried Zaha.

As a result of that, the Gunners seem prepared to part with their top scorer for just £56m, according to the Times.

Some MUFC fans may be unsure about spending that much on a player who’s just turned 30, but he’d surely be a major upgrade on Romelu Lukaku.

Aubameyang has been a prolific scorer everywhere he’s been, with his best form coming at Borussia Dortmund, but with his brief time at Arsenal so far also being a big success.

United could probably cash in on Lukaku for around £75m as Inter Milan continue to hover (as reported by the Sun), so we could quite possibly strengthen up front whilst making a profit this summer.

Surely a no-brainer? Get the chequebook out, Ed!
