Manchester United open transfer talks with £85million star ideal to fix problem position

Manchester United have reportedly contacted Paulo Dybala over a transfer from Juventus to Old Trafford this summer.

Calciomercato report that the Argentine forward is in England at the moment, and has received offers from both Man Utd and Bayern Munich.

It remains to be seen which club Dybala would choose, with both United and Bayern in need of new attacking players for different reasons.

The Red Devils urgently need to bring in upgrades on off-form forward players like Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial, and Dybala could fill that role well.

However, Bayern’s need is great too as they’re set to lose two legendary wide-forwards in Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery in one summer.

Dybala could clearly be an ideal replacement for Robben on that right-hand side, with the 25-year-old similarly dangerous when he cuts in on to his preferred left foot.

Calciomercato report that the former Palermo star has an asking price of around £85million, which may be a bit much to pay considering his recent struggles at Juve.

Still, United can’t afford to be too picky and a move away from Turin could be just what Dybala needs to get his immensely promising career back on track.
