Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba was reportedly left unimpressed by what he perceived as long-ball tactics by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in Wednesday night’s defeat to Manchester City.

The Red Devils were beaten 2-0 at home by Pep Guardiola’s side, who took a step closer to the Premier League title.

United, meanwhile, remain 6th in the table and look unlikely to make it into the top four and qualify for next season’s Champions League at this rate.

This won’t be what Pogba had in mind when he joined the club in a big-money transfer from Juventus in 2016, and the Sun report he’s unhappy.

According to the report, the France international isn’t convinced by Solskjaer as a manager, and his agent Mino Raiola recently cancelled a meeting to discuss a new contract at Old Trafford.

This could mean Real Madrid are placed on alert, with the Sun claiming Zinedine Zidane is a big fan of the 26-year-old.

For Man Utd fans, one imagines the departure of Pogba and an end to this drama that seems to follow him around might actually be a relief.
