Manchester United have conceded 46 goals for the first time in a single Premier League campaign – and the season’s not even over yet.
It’s been a terrible start against Everton today, with the Toffees 2-0 up early on and looking by far the better team.

That is perhaps not surprising against below-par defenders like this, with United long linked with making some big moves in the transfer market to strengthen that position.
ESPN have linked MUFC with big names like Kalidou Koulibaly and Raphael Varane as options to come in at the back, and either would be a comfortable upgrade on any of our current options.
If United carry on conceding at this alarming rate, however, it may well cost the club a place in next season’s Champions League, which will make bringing in that big-name CB that bit harder.
Let’s hope this lot can produce just enough to get us over the line in the final few games of this season…
